Ion-Metamanipulator for as .OBJ and Collada-files (.DAE)
--------------------------------------------------------

Copy the folder "Ion-Metamanipulator" to your folder DAZ-Studio -> content -> props
There you will find the scene-preset for the object.

Modeled with "Hexagon 2.5". Tested in DAZ-Studio 3.1.1.73 Advanced Edition 64 Bit.
For Poser-users or use/adapt in other 3D-Software you will find all files in the "Ion-Metamanipulator"-folder to convert it to your
own uses: .OBJ-version and Collada (.DAE)

UPDATE Aug. 2012:
=================

The DAZ-Scene-preset was removed from the ZIP-Folder now. DAZ-Studio wrote some nasty, hidden files with my local HD-Path while
saving the object as a DAZ-Scene-preset, so it won't work on other systems than mine. The .HXN-file was removed too to get a smaller
ZIP-folder (you can import the OBJ into Hexagon to edit it too). DAZ-Studio and Poser-Users shall import the OBJ-Version instead.
I developed two more rules (11 and 12) for the "Quickstart-Reference" concerning generating an IMM with an IMM.

What the hell is an Ion-Metamanipulator??

Good question, but i have no answer. It's something Steampunk-esque or something like Harry Potters wand, Luke Skywalkers lightsaber,
the flash-thingy from "Man in Black", the Golden Compass and...and...and... all in one ;-)

I saw (and used) this weird item in a strange dream i had a few day ago. The rings with the symbols are for adjusting the function.
The function demands on how the symbols are set. The yellow buttons on the adjustment-rings are for locking the rings in position.
In my dream i did exactly know, how and for what this thing was used, because as someone
asked me about the setting, i answered "The adjustment is okay" and targeted it on the full-moon for testing it.
A white spot was projected on the moon and due the space between earth and moon it was hard to hold the projection in the target.
But someone had manipulated the device and it beamed me (and some others) in a parallel-deminsion where i had to fight with
tentacle-monsters and later with machine-guns against werewolves.
Unfortunartely i woke up at the moment, when some of the werewolfes started to fight on our side.

Yes, it was a weird dream, totally surreal but damn intense and as a result the Ion-Metamanipulator is now available as a 3D-model,
for whatshowever...! ;-))

The Ion Metamanipulator (IMM): Quickstart Reference
---------------------------------------------------

1. Set the dials to your desired operation and press the process-button. The desired function will be
executed immediately.

2. You can set a desired event of a function to occur up to 48 hours in the future. From the moment when pressing the
process-button it will be count as executed and the countdown for the desired event will start.

3. During 5 Minutes after an executed function you can undo it by setting all dials to zero-position and pressing
the process-button again. The last operation will be reversed. To reverse two or more operations you have to press the
process-button two or more time too as long as the last executed operation(s) are not longer as 5 minutes ago.

4. For some operations you need to hold the process-button down as long the desired function shall work, e.g. using
it as a laser-gun or light-saber.

5. Not all executed functions can be undone with the Undo-function described in 2

6. Real and fictional items can be generated. To generate a real or fictional item set the dials to "generate item",imagine
the item that shall be generated and press the process-button. That works only for the person, who hold the IMM in its hands.

7. Some generated items may not work exactly as their reference, especially when you generate a fictional item that collide
with the (known or unknown) natural laws of your universe, but the IMM will do its best to align an item that collide with #
the natural laws of your universe as best it possible to your universe.

8. Recursive meta-generatings are possible: An IMM can generate another IMM, but take care of Point 6.

9. The IMM is indestructible, but an IMM generated with another IMM can be (only) destroyed with the source-IMM that generated it.
The IMM can be destroyed by the self-destruction dial-settings too. Point 2 will not be valid for this function!

10. An executed function will be generated even if the IMM was destroyed before the executed function was started or finished.
Point 2 will be invalid for this case too!

11. You can generate further IMM with an already generated IMM. A "third-class" IMM can only be destroyed by the "second-class"-IMM
that generated it and both (second- and third-class-IMM) only by the original source-IMM.

12. It's only possible to found out, what class an IMM has by the destroying-test and if you have the source-IMM.

13. For further rules, references and the lists of dial-sets refer the Main-manual. This short Quickstart-guide did not replace
the complete manual! Use common-sense all the time. Don't destroy worlds and universes!

P.S.
The item loads larger than life in DAZ-Studio, so it can't get "lost" in a complex scene. Simply scale it down when you have found
it after loading.
The correct size from my dream is about a large flashlight like a MagLite 3D-Cell.
